Sertraline 50mg causing tremors, is this normal?

I've been taking Sertraline 50mg for 2 1/2 weeks now, and about 6 days ago i started waking up in the morning with intense tremors. I'd reach for my phone and it would shake in my hand. Throughout the day the intensity of the trembling would subside, but today it hasn't. Should I wait it out or see my doctor? Has anyone else experienced this? I'm just not sure if this is a common side effect.

I don't know how common this is as a side effect but I know I got it for a few days, with my health anxiety rearing it's ugly head, it got me googling Parkinson's, as you do! it subsided after a few days, I am sure it will pass for you but if you are too worried check it out with you Dr, you are still early in time for your body to be fully adjusted to the medication, they do work but they also bring to us some weird and wonderful side effects which will all go once you have become stable

Yes! The worst thing I did was Google it and Parkinsons kept coming up! Not great for my health anxiety. Thank you though, I might see how I go for the next few days then visit the Dr.

hey Lenn i’m taking 37.5 now this is my third day in my hands are shaking too. It just Hass to make its way through your system. Everything has to start balancing out. Just be patient let that anxiety just roll through you like water washing over stones in the creek. Just walk them in the shakes know it’s only gonna be there for a little while and let it go.Good luck and God bless we were on the same boat here buddy.
