Sertraline 50mg side effects

Hi so I’ve been on my sertraline around 7weeks most of you will have seen me on here plenty of times just as I thought I was getting better my anxiety is on full form I’m sweating all day and night my stomach is burning and upset also dioriah and also unexplained bruises my appetite has disappeared and I’m getin weird purple spots and blemishes on my body which are coming out as bruises then disappearing just want to be better also I have the worst dry throat ever and I’m drinking plenty I keep thinking I have sepsis or something xxx help

    Claire, maybe you just stop taking this medication it seems it’s hurting you a lot more than it’s helping you!!

    Again I agree with Joe (,great minds think alike lol). I can understand some of the side effects like the stomach issues but the bruises are another thing. Call your doctor and see if u can either try a different med or explain to u why you have the bruises. 🐾

      I have read that bruises can’t be an uncommon side effect but joes right it’s just makin me worse instead of better I feel like goin ane I’m that scared xx

    Hey Claire I didn’t even make it this long sometimes it just doesn’t agree with people considering all of what you’re saying you should probably stop taking it.  Also consider how long you’ve been on it you may need to taper off to avoid any further issues.  Call your doctor and seek their advice before listening to anyone else.  There are plenty of other options as far as medication goes.  Good luck.
