Sertraline 50mg to 75mg

Hi,

Going from 50mg to 75mg - any advice?

Is this a worthwhile step or should I just go to 100mg?

Felt very anxious the first few days but seems to be settling down now. Been on the 75mg for a week now. Still over-thinking and worrying about future events...

Thanks!

Hi Richard. We are in the same boat mr. I was on 50mg and yester day I had to up to 75. Like you I'm anxious about doing it but first 75 seems to be ok so far but only day one.

My Doctor said to do it gradually to minimise side effects so if it was me I would be following what you have been advised. Who knows 75 may be the right dose for you.

Keep me posted please as would love to hear how you are getting on. Remember these pills take a while to feel the benefits so maybe wait a bit on the 75 before going up

    Good luck

I went from 50 to 100. It wasnt great but for me the amount of days i felt bad after increasing the dose was pretty short. Also it will probably take a few weeks to readjust to the new dose

    Richard.

try 75mg for a while yes, and then u can always increase again in a few weeks

here, personally i found that 100mg is the ideal dose for me..  50mg and 75mg didnt quite do it for me (almost though).    everyone is different though so keep trying until you find the right dose for you

We al want to get to a better place as quick as possible but you may actually skip the dose best suited for you or experience more mental drama by taking steps this big. Good luck.
