Sertraline 50mg Week 4

Posted , 4 users are following.

Just about to start week 4 tonight. For the last four days I've felt close to normal in terms of anxiety and intrusive thoughts but they both started up again last night and today feels like back to square one sad.

Really thought I'd turned a corner! Is this sort of thing normal?

Thanks Kayleigh. Out of interest what have your intrusive thoughts been about?

Hi Dave, yes this is normal generally a sign you need to go to higher dose, 75mg or 100MG and don't be afraid these are normal doses, when I went to 100 it changed everything for the better.hope this helps

Thanks Tim. Have an appointment with the dr next week so will broach the issue of dosage. By then it'll have been 5+ weeks.

My husband will be on day 28 of 50mg this Friday and we are due to see the GP . Do you think she will increase it ?

Depends on how he is doing, if still struggling with his thoughts, anxiety, very likely she will take him up to 100mg, don't be afraid of that this is still a very normal dose, when doc took me to 100mg it made a big difference for me, for the better. Hope this helps
