I've started sertraline and having headaches , stomach upset and shivers is that normal can anyone help please. Thanks

    Don't worry Uzzy, it will pass, it's normal what u r having, it goes away, be patient, it's worthy

    Yes that's quite the norm, some have it a lot worse uzzy. It will pass soon.

    Hey love!

    Ugh I just got over the whole process. Week 1 shivers were bad as well as dizziness and nausea constant into Week 2. Week 2 also consisted of me not wanting to get out of bed because that's the only place I felt okay (heightened anxiety). I'm at the beginning of Week 3 and I have some headaches but not much. My appetite is back, no more dizziness, I'm going to work again.

    I will warn you, it's going to get worse before it gets better.

    I sat and cried being very frustrated and wanting to feel like myself again through this whole process.

    I'm feeling like myself again. I have some anxious thoughts but the Zoloft is 97% controlling them. I'm not acting out on them as I was Week 2.

    Hang tight Uzzy! The medicine works!

    Hello. Yes I had very similar effects when starting on sertraline. Headaches will ease and hopefully stop in time ..... upset tummy , usually stops pretty quickly.
