Sertraline

I have been taking Sertraline for over a year now. Dosage of 200 mgs for about the past 8 months. Saw my GP last Wednesday and because I am now coping with life, I discussed a reduction in dosage. We agreed to drop to 100mgs per day. It's it Saturday but I can already feel my agitation and depression returning, is this too quick as it's it been reduced for 3 days??

You could try it at 150 mg and then gradually reduce to 100 mg. You can talk to your doc about this.

Probably better to cut back to 150 mg for a while before going to 100 mg.

You will probably feel crappy until you get where you want to be and your body gets used to the change.

If you were doing well at 200 with no adverse affects, why change?
