Sertraline

Posted , 3 users are following.

This is my first week on Sertraline after 23 years on Paroxetine and it's been hard. I've noticed insomnia, dry mouth and nausea/loss of appetite.

Do these effects subside after a while? It's miserable at the moment!

Yes definitely. The nausea usually goes away after a couple weeks but will return each time you increase your dose.

It didnt cause insomnia for me, i noticed my dreams were crazy which made 💤 g a bit harder but overall the side effects go away.

Im on my 6th week and im just starting to see improvement so it does take some time. Good luck!

    Avril,

It varies by person but yes, that will all subside. Took me about 3 months before I finally started feeling normal again. The lack of appetite lingered the longest.
