Sorry I seem to make so many posts haha. I was just wondering when you start taking sertraline is it normal for your anxiety symptoms to get worse before they get better

Oh yeah... mine did. You'll have good days and bad days. I really noticed it wasnt for me tho after like a month. I switch to escitalopram and I've been happy on that. Any SSRI it takes 4-6 weeks to feel your best. Even after 6 months I felt a different kind of "better".

So you'd say it's normal for your physical symptoms to get worse as well before it gets better, haha I just worry a lot and need all reinsurance in the world I swear

100% .... your mind and body have to adjust to the meds... then if you need to increase slowly, you'll know. I knew 10mg of lexapro wasnt enough after 3 months on it. As soon as I increased, I felt like a new person. Just listen to your body and what you're feeling and if in 4 months you dont feel better, it might not be the meds for you. I went thru 3 different ones till I found my miracle drug...

I’ve also increased from 150-200 mg 2.5 weeks ago and feel increased anxiety and nausea, so I’m with you.
Have you joined the positiv Zoloft group on Facebook. It’s a great place with a lot of wonderful people.
