Hey Kal. Hows it going...I'm pretty new to sertraline myself. Been on it a little over 7 weeks. Like you I started on 25 mg and stayed on it for a month before my doc upped my dose to 50. Been on 50 mg for a little over 3 weeks now, and I'm starting to feel good. So you say you feel worn out and tired? Are there any other side effects you have been experiencing? If that's all you are feeling, let me suggest something to you. Take your dose at night before bed. That's what I do, and that's how I started. I would feel really tired and spacey as well at first, but I just went to sleep. And the next day I would usually be fine. Same thing when I switched to 50. Good luck to you. Hope it gets better soon.

The first week I started them I had insomnia and have tried to take them earlier in the morning to prevent it but Id willingly give taking them in the evening ago as im 3/4 weeks in now ...my other side effects are constipation and i only took one 50 mg tab on my 2nd week and went back to 25 mg as felt instantly more anxious ..think im going to try upping to 50 later this week xxx

Let me tell you, being on 50 made a huge difference for me. I felt extra anxious that first morning being on 50 but that was it. Maybe try going up to 37.5, then 50? That might help. Or u can just bite the bullet and go up to 50 again. You just gotta go for it so you can start to feel better. When I first was prescribed the sertraline, it sat on my dresser for literally 6 months because I was so scared of the side effects. Meanwhile I was suffering. Then when I went up to 50, I was scared again. The first 2 nights I broke the pill in half so I could just have 25 mg. But on the 3rd night, I just went for it. And so glad I did. Hang in there.

Your welcome. It's nice to know we aren't alone. My husband has always been as supportive as he can be, but for someone who hasnt been through it, it's hard to understand. And I dont fault him for that... Absolutely keep in touch! Let me know when u start the 50 mg. You're gonna feel so much better. Talk to u soon 😃
