Sertraline and Blurry Vision

I have been on Sertraline for 10 weeks to cope with horrendous panic and intrusive thoughts. I have experienced many side effects of the medicine (initial increased anxiety, which was very bad, stomach upset, diarrhea, internal trembling, dry mouth, and sleep disturbances). My symptoms are MUCH better now, amazingly, but I must admit I have occasionally had to use 2 mg Valium to cope with the increased anxiety. One lingering side effect is the blurry vision. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, does it go away?

I am obviously not 100% yet, but the Sertraline has definitely helped me enormously, especially the intrusive thoughts, which are the worst for me. Coping with adjusting to the Sertraline has been a big challenge, but worth it. It's the blurry vision that I am waiting for to disappear. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Thank-you so much for your replies. I am currently taking 25 mg per day. I am SUPER-cautious with meds, as I sometimes have very bad reactions to them. I will s-l-o-w-l-y increase dose to 50 mg in the coming months. Psychiatrist says ultimately 100 mg is a therapeutic dose, but I want (with Dr.'s permission) to find the "right" dosage for me, as I will be on them the rest of my life. I don't want to live with panic and anxiety anymore. And if Sertraline works, it's a small price to pay.
