Sertraline and l theanine?

Posted , 3 users are following.

Anyone tried it? I'm in week 6.5 of Zoloft with no relief in sight. I don't feel any better. I have been reading about l theanine and wondering if there's any interaction between the two. I haven't been able to find much info on it.

Anyone taken the two together? L theanine looks promising for anxiety and I'd like to try it.

    Hi Erinola,

I can tell you definitly that the two do not mix, it's dangerous to take the two at the same time, according to the drug data base I use, hope this helps,

I found that one out the hard way yesterday. Took two 100mg pills a few hours apart. It did not go well. Lesson learned!

      Hi Erinola,

I'm so sorry to hear that, hope you are ok, drink plenty of water for a few days to flush out your system, you should be fine.

I think I'm good for now. I'm just so desparate to feel better that I thought I'd try it. Lesson learned!

I'm going to give the Sertraline another week or so and then I'm looking at switching.

I highly doubt I'll ever be drug-free, but I'm glad it's working for you! That's great! smile

My anxiety isn't related to anything... my life is great. Just have a chemical imbalance (I believe).
