Sertraline and negative thoughts

Hi everyone

Does anyone know if Sirtraline couses negative thoughts or is it because of my anxitey it just im not as depressed as before but can't get rid of these negative thoughts and I think it's that what's making me feel down been on 5g for 5 weeks then 100mg for a week

    I did have such negative thoughts similar to you don.   I went back to doctor after 4 weeks and he explained that the first thing the sertraline does is makes the depression better but ramps up the anxiety until it levels out.

    i did a test thing on Facebook re behaviour etc and it came back cool as a cucumber lol.   I have no negative thoughts anymore in fact I think about what I used to think and can't believe it ..
