Hi guys,

I've Been on sertraline for 2 weeks on 50mg. Last night I increased my dose to 100mg. I couldn't sleep

Do you think it would be ok to take a Kalms herbal tablet with it to help me sleep? Till I can ask doctors for something's to help.

Hi. Yes kalms are fine to take. They didn't work for me so my Dr recommended Sominex, the over the counter tablets. Good luck 👍

Have you tired Kalms one a night herbal sleeping tablets? Or see if your doc can give you something? If I can't sleep tonight I will have to ask doc to give me something.

i'll as how it is tonight but don't like taking any diazepam at night, pathetic i know! all linked with the HA

Are you taking the sertraline at night? Might be better to switch to mornings if it's keeping you up.

Yes at night. I don't want to take it in the morning as it makes me dizzy and spaced out when I first wake up.. And I work full time.

What about taking it around fiveam, I take mine then so head fog gone. Also I usually eat a cracker or banana then try to get back to sleep

5am? Don't think that would work for me I'm up 2 hrs later for work. I take it at 10pm and I'm usually a little dizzy and spaced out in the morning, it then fades through out the day. I'm hoping side effects will go after a few days.

I have noticed I'm sweating more too. I stink lol. Yes, in the beginning you have good and bad days.. how do you feel now?? As I always feel spaced out when I first get up. As the day goes on I feel better.

I had to take a diazapam this moring but did nothing as all i was doing was worrying about those bloody blood tests sad  I took another one just now to see if I can get some sleep later but dount it. Husband has set up TV for me in spare room so I can leave it on and not disturb him.  Husband was taking kids bowling and I was going to stay here but whats the point sitting on google for hours scaring myself so I forced myself to go - felt spaced out too but manageable, Managed to eat a tiny bit this evening but have lost a stone now, so probably start panciking about that now too!!!

not great at all , not too bad side effect wise

but my health anxiety has spiralled. Still panicking about blood tests and also sweating last night was so bad the sheets were all really damp. The thing is i know this medication causes it too but it was happening a few weeks before but could have also been my anxiety! maybe u should drop doseage down a bit?

My mood has improved and the side effects seem to be fading. Praying it continues. Going to stick with the 100mg, feeling any better?

      i think

i would be except for theee bloody blood tests and me panicking like mad, had a retest this morning. had no sleep and lost so much weight sad just can't eat a thing and it's not the tablets as side effects pretty much ok now. if it wasn't for this i could get on with things and altho no one else seems worried i'm in a real state and can't get it out my head! never even heard of bloody CRP 2 months ago and now im obsessed with it! 😢

Sorry to hear that. It's a journey we are all on it and you will have ups and downs along the way. Vent as much as you need too. What is CRP? x

it's an inflammation marker in our blood that indicates inflammation somewhere in the body so my mind is jumping to cancer as it can b caused by that ( as well as autoimmune diseases and arthritis) which i don't have
