Sertraline and sweating

Posted , 4 users are following.

Hi folks..just to say that I am almost weaned off sertraline  (will see howini it goes but down to 25mg every 4 days) and I have not had bad sweating episode for more than a week.  I'm nearly afraid to say it but I was getting them so regularly and was so bad that it was what prompted me to try and come off them. I hope it continues

Hi Yorkshire..I'm feeling ok..I do get a bit anxious occasionally (more like butterflies in tummy) but it doesn't last. I suppose I'll need to wait until I'm completely weaned off for a while. So far so good..able to go to work every day and live normal life so far..I do suffer from generalised anxiety so can't expect miracles!

Hi Betty..if u are going to wean yourself off them do it with your doctor's support and advice.  I did it very slowly..am still on 25mg every 4th day but only have couple more to go.  I'm bit anxious about how I'll be next week when I'm off them completely because I'm going on hols in about 10 days time. My gp told me to go back to her between finishing the sertraline and going on hols just to check how I am feeling so I will do that.. hopefully all will be well.
