Sertraline effects after 4 weeks - am I going mad?

Posted , 2 users are following.

I just want to see others experience with Sertraline. i started on 50mg four weeks ago and had awful side effects to begin with, everything imaginable! fortunately most have left but ive been left with a bloated, nausea, belching type feeling and sometimes feeling as though my throats clogged. The pharmacist at my GP surgery says to perservere as gastro problems are common and to take antacids. Just wondered if anyone has experienced this ongoing and any advice would be great

i suffer with acid reflux as a norm and everything u are describing sounds acid reflux. is it possible for you to take ur tablet AFTER eating? other than what u have already tried, i would say antacids also.

also does ur throat feel clogged as if theres thick saliva? or as if theres a feeling of something stuck?

i strangely get a mix of both ! sometimes it feels as though my throat is phlegmy and then other times i feel like a lump in throat as if nervous. i hope it passes! reflux is the worse just for a short space of time. i really feel for you if thats your normal
