You will do better. Slowly you will get there. 4 weeks is not a lot. Everybody reacts differently. Wait it out and you will see the difference.

I am on 150 mg for more than 6 weeks and still have a few bad days. I try to hang on and on bad days I might take 0.25 mg of Ativan. This works for me.

Stay the course and you will get better.

Yes like Sharyan said, it just takes time. If you have had a few good days here and there, then that's a good sign. We want to feel good so bad that we are literally waking up every morning waiting for it. I know the feeling. I was exactly where you are being on 50 mg for 4 weeks. I was feeling good here and there but I was still having very low days. After 3 months of 50 mg I moved up to 100 mg. Been on 100 for about 10 months. Gave me my life back. Hang in there. Give it another 4 to 6 weeks on 50, and if you still are struggling go up to 100. You'll be fine. One day you'll wake up and realize that you've been feeling good for a long time.;)

Can I ask please how long did it take for you until you STARTED to feel better on 100mg please? Iam just finished with my 9th week and I am feeling a bit better but still far from good or normal.

Thats normal! Healing is not linear but like a roller coaster. You will have lots of ups and downs until you level. Most of us had the worst weeks at 3-4 weeks mark and many of them like me didnt even have a single good day until the 8th or 9th week, it is a really good sign you had! I know ist so hard very well I have been struggling bad since last august and just started to feel a little bit better, but we need to be patient. If you had some good days already, you will be fine soon I am sure! Best of luck to you!

Having a few good days here and there interrupted by some bad days is a big sign that this med is possibly working for you. Also, this med first reduces OCD thoughts and anxiety. However, it takes a lot longer to help with depression, I find. It took me 5-6 months on this med at the right dosage to finally noticed the sun again.

Hang in there and prayers coming your way.
