Another post from me! Does anyone take hayfever medication while on Sertraline and which types do you take (brands available in UK).

have you found you are getting allergies worse since starting sertraline?
this is my first spring and summer on the drug and i have a constantly sniffy nose and dry throat and stuffy sinus feeling that i have never had before but i am not poorly

Yes, they do seem worse, but then I'd usually be taking nasal spray and eye drops by now. And yes, I've also had sniffy nose, dry throat etc.

i take Beconase as since sertraline ive had hayfever and its really bad rang the doctor last week said i can take antihistamines and spray hope this helps

Great! I'll get some in, I usually take Beconase but haven't since being on this drug as I wasn't sure of the interaction. Thank you.

Hi there, I'm taking hay fever tablets at the moment and have eye drops arriving today so will see how I get on. Thanks for checking in.

weird isnt is! it must completley dry out our throat and nasal membranes
