    Nicola32634,

I understand!   I’m on the verge of losing my exceptionallly good job because of anxiety/panic attack’s.  I’ve turned down a promotion because it requires “meetings” and now I’m calling in sick 2-3 days a month due to panic attacks driving to work so I turn around and go home!

The doc put me on Prozac, and by day 12 anxiety (ALL other side effects) were so bad I was curled up in my room for 3 days before the anxiety, sweating, panic, insomnia, vomiting and truly manic thoughts subsided! It even caused depression which I’ve never had in my life!  I stopped taking it before I was hospitalized. Worst I’ve ever felt!

Doc just prescribed Zoloft and I’ve been staring at it for a week lol!  Afraid to go through that again.   Don’t know what to do either.........I can’t imagine SSri’s could be too dramatically different!

    Hopefully someone has info

Sertraline is the best antidepressants  for panic disorder and  anxiety . So you are not alone, if your treatment about panic attacks other than depression you should not be used Sertraline 50 mg, I can assured you will be 100% okay after 6-8 weeks later afterward over the time you will  be  like a new man with new delightful life. So don't worry,, I had this problems severely  after treatment with Sertraline 50 mg i almost okay (80%) it is my  7th week.   Don't be scared & anxious .  I wish your recovery as soon as possible by God.
