Sertraline increase after 15 years

Hello all! I've been taking 50 mg sertraline for 15 years and it has helped me manage anxiety really well till recently. 6 weeks ago I experienced breakthrough anxiety that I havent felt in all of this time so my GP increased my dose to 75 mg. It has been almost four weeks and I've had less panic and anxiety but feel very jittery, no appetite, really tired, not sleeping well, and not my full self. Should it have kicked in faster considering I have been on it all this time? How long has it taken any of you who've been on sertraline a long time to get better after a dose increase? Any responses woukd be greatly appreciated!

    Hi,

I was on Sertraline 50mg until about 6months ago and had to go up to 100mg it took about 2months for me to feel any difference. I still have the odd day where anxiety gets the better of me but overall feel much better. Maybe you need a higher dose or just give it a little longer to kick in if you are worried about it have another chat with your doctor hope it goes well for you.
