hello, i have been taking sertraline for some years now and this sounds very familiar to me. I take it for my OCD and whenever i have changed the dose i experience side affects. however when i have persevered it has sorted itself out eventually.

I have messed up recently. i had been much better for a long time and got myself in to a habbit of taking it irregularly (every third or fourth day) which has caused a relapse in my OCD. A couple of weeks ago i started taking it again everyday and now experiencing increased anxiety. However i am going to try and ride it out

hi, i definitely believe that with each dose increase there are always initially some side effects. for me it was increased anxiety and lower mood for a few weeks. I HAVE ALSO had breathlessness due to an anxiety attack, its super important that you find ways to relax, deep breathing , lavendar oil , exercise, plenty of sleep etc. ive heard that a side effect can be teeth grinding, so i wonder if this is why u have a painful jaw? a flushed face can also be a side effect thst will go . x
