Sertraline increasing to 200mg

Hi everyone

I'm currently suffering from pnd. I'd been on 150mg sertraline for 3 months which had been working well, but it's suddenly stopped and I feel terrible again with no energy to do anything. I've just been upped to 200.

Does anyone know how long the increased dose will take to start working?

I am currently in the same situation, I was just increased to 200 mg. as well, and it has been just over a month, and I seem to have some major anger issues. But, my doctor told me it takes it a little while to get into your system, so give it another month.  I sure hope I start feeling better soon.

Hi Jade, if I were you I would give this increased dose a good 6-8 weeks to see if it works. For me, I would like no doubt in my mind whatsoever if a med doesn't work for me before quitting it and trying a new med. Take care, hang in there.
