Sertraline Morning or Evening

Hi, I was recently prescribed sertraline after a horrendous week on Citalopram for my anxiety. I’ve been on sertraline before and always took it in the evening before bed. My mum does the same. However my doctor said to take it in the morning, and there’s only one AD they recommend taking in the evening. Is this ok to take in the evening? I had trouble with Citalopram keeping me up so took that in the morning (didn’t help with the insomnia much haha but thankfully trying another AD now), but sertraline hasn’t given me trouble before.

Did you feel side effects during the day? I think that worries me a little as I can just sleep through side effects if I take it at night but if I feel bad during the day I still have to work through it!
