I am on 50mg for anxiety attacks and low mood having lost my job

But feel tired esp in morning and weak and am having night sweats a lot

Are these side effects and will they pass do you think ?

Been on it 3 weeks - starting to thing the side effects as bad as the original problem

Hello. Just to reassure you that I had exactly the same symptoms. They do lessen over time but two months in I still get the feelings you describe every now and again. My advice would be to stick with it - three weeks is pretty early on. Good luck and I hope things improve. Jason, UK.

Hey Rich - I think it does. I take mine late evening (about 8.30) - main reason is I have an hour's drive to work and didn't want to be drowsy. Must admit if I wake in the night I do feel a bit unsteady on my feet.

Yes I know what u mean

Hard to know if waking up in a sweat is anxiety or side effect isn't it

Mornings tend to be worse for me

Takes a bit for the body to get accustomed to it. Give it time - and these symptoms should subside. 3 months maybe --- and your body should metabolize evenly .... See how u feel in 2 more weeks. Drink a lot of water

    Hi Rich

ive been on Setraline for 10 weeks now. First 3 weeks on 50mg were hell. My GP increased my dose to 100mg & then after another 3 weeks to 150mg. Every time you increase your dose it takes 3 weeks to feel the full effects. But trust me. As painful & as horrible these side effects are, stick with it until you find the correct dose for you. I've had no panic attacks & much calmer despite having loads going on in my life at the moment. I still get the odd "down"day but that's usually on a weekend if I've drunk alcohol. Good luck on your journey.

Did u go through a phase of low energy and then it picked up ?

Just a real struggle to find the energy to get out of bed last day or 2

I had no energy or motivation to do anything for about5/6 weeks. It does come back though. Try & ride the storm.
