sertraline - restless leg syndrome at night

hi, i've been on sertraline for over a year, everything has settled for me and it's doing a great job, the only gripe i have is at night time when i've done all my house chores and settled down to chill out infront of the telly for a bit, i get this really annoying like tingling in my legs, like electric shocks but not painful just really irritating like i can't relax although i feel relaxed. feels like i need to stretch my legs out!! i've ended up having to lie flat on the sofa with my legs elevated up on pillows or lie on the floor with my legs up against the wall. it seems to have got worse since i found out i'm 8 weeks pregnant. anyone else had the same experience with sertraline ???

i've already seen both my doctor and my midwife and they have both confirmed that sertraline is safe whilst i'm pregnant and they are both happy for me to be on my medication throughout :-) it can only be unsafe for your baby if you start taking it after you are pregnant and it isn't already settled into your system etc.

i am in england, manchester..........i guess it depends how bad your depression is, not sure about that though, i am on 150mg for depression and been taking the meds for well over a year now so they had no concerns at all and said if you're happy, you're baby is happy so i'm relieved, i know what i'm like without it and i would have had a terrible pregnancy so glad i came out with a good result :-)
