sertraline ringing in ears

Hi Folks,

i was on Sertraline for 12 days.

started on 25mg, and at day 4-5 i noticed a ringing in my left ear.

i spoke to my Doctor and she advised to have my ears cleaned which I did. I when went up to 50mg for two days but noticed the ringing got louder! this along with other side effects made me stop taking these pills. It's now been 5 weeks since I stopped taking them, but I still have this ringing in my left ear. Has anyone else found this to be an issue, and is this now a permanent issue that I will have to live with?!

it makes me feel anger as no one told me this could happen and i took these in the hope it would help my bouts of anxiety and depression. i must say I may now on mirtazapine which I was on before and never had a ringing in the ears issue.
