Sertraline sensitivity

Ive been on 6 , yes only 6 mg of Sertraline once daily for 3 years. I really want to take more as my anxiety is very high but even when I take 12mg a day , I feel light headed , dizzy and my eyes look like Im stoned.

Any suggestions as I need more medication to calm my brain.

Yes the 6mg has worked as it got me thru open heart surgery a few years ago as the Hospital offered no mental health assistance.
