Nearly 7 weeks on 50 mg. Some better days and really hopeful but suddenly side effects changing and really hard to cope with. Two days of extreme tiredness, very heavy and achy head and vision not good. Trying to be positive and think this could be the start of things changing for the better. l know it's an up and down journey.Anyone have anything similar?

I use 5HTP and Ashwagandha early morning on empty stomach. This has helped me alot without side effects. I also take Nordic Natutals DHA, Tumeric capsules, B complex and a food Multivitamin plus I take minerals too.

I also dont eat any sugar, gluten, dairy, or any high glycemic foods. Lots of veggies, salads, some seeds, nuts, pasture raised eggs and chicken only, plus only grass fed meat. No processed vegetables oils at all, very inflammatory. Only olive oil, avocado oil, grass fed butter or grass fed ghee.

Remember not to take 5htp for more than 3 months at a time. Its caused many people serotonin syndrome. I was using for 3 months then taking a month off.

I read that only happens if you mix with other antidepressants, which I'm not. I went for total holistic approach, as years back a mild antidepressant had me to the point that I couldn't even walk and that was a pediatric dose he had me on. Doctor told me it works slower then your typical antidepressants , so they are milder.

Hmm. You shouldn't really be feeling that after 7 weeks. I would up your side to 100. Give it a week or 2. If no change come off them before they cause you havoc. They have have me permanent tinnitus and played havoc with my jaw. Ask to go onto an snri if they don't work. Duloxetine is a good one. Alot less side affects

sounds like side affects of the Sertraline (zoloft). the side effects include; tiredness, drowsiness, insomnia and agitation, intergestion, nausea, diarehea, loss of appetite, sweating, tremors or shaking, decreased sex drive, impotence, and trouble having an orgasm. any of these symptoms sound familiar?

i think you all are skirting around the issue that he is suffering side effects of the zoloft he is on. look it up its plain as day. its like some of you dont want to get better. in this case the anxiety is the effect and not the cause.
