hi, been taking sertraline for about 10 ish days now and was just wondering what side effects others have experienced? and when you think the best time to take it is?

it makes me super sleepy but then ruins my sleep, i will fall asleep and after 4 hours be wide awake and then feel exhausted all day. also anxiety feels higher right now but ive read it does make you feel bad before it makes you feel good..

any advice and whatnot would be fab x

Hi. I had horrendous side effects which included nausea, severe depression & also I could not stop shaking which was the worse one as it stopped me from doing anything. I persevered for many months & eventually it kicked in & things started to improve slowly but surely. My confidence has grown & I am a lot happier. I know its difficult but try & persevere. All the best.

it will be difficult but do try & persevere with it if you can. Things will improve & that is what you have to hang onto.

    Hi,

The only side effect I have noticed (which has also found with other anti-depressants) is being dehydrated and sweating very easily. Have noticed no other effects including reducing my brain fog / head pressure / anxiety - seems to do nothing at all for me. A problem you may find is that after taking for a while if you suddenly stop you might experience strange head zaps - I got this when I ran out of the drug.
