sertraline side effects advice please

Hi, I have been put on 50mg sertraline by my GP and am now on day 3. I am experiencing some horrible side effects and just want to know if I should be worried. On the 1st day I experienced: sweaty and shaking hands, dry mouth, tight jaw, dilated pupils and a general sense of being as high as a kite (but not in a good way). Second day I experienced: sweaty and shaking hands, dilated pupils, really bad lack of concentration and at night time I experienced a headache from hell that made me feel sick, shot my pulse and heart rate up and gave me a sense of pins and needles from head to toe. On my 3rd day (which I'm still in) I am experiencing a slight headache, clammy hands, dilated pupils and a very strange sensation that everything I look at isn't 100% real (I don't know if that makes sense). Obviously you can see that over a few days the symptoms seem to be calming down (or at least changing) but I just wanted some advice on whether I should see a GP? as I don't like wasting their time if this is me being a drama queen.

I might try lowering the dose a bit. Just bit concerning that felt whole lot worse last few days. Did have some stress with family last week so could be that. So draining after 10 months of going through hell with zopiclone withdrawal. Hope you are feeling OK.

Hang in there!!!!.......it does get better (for me anyway) I had awful anxiety and the first 2-3 weeks were hard but i am def 80% better now on 50mg and in my 5th week! I also really really recommend that you try and get out and about each day, even if just 10 minutes! It does help. Sitting around constantly thinking about how ur feeling is not good!! But it WILL get better and it WONT last forever!! Keep going!! xx
