Hi
what med have you been on? My son is on Sertraline 100mg tolerating well but no joy after 11 weeks. mirtazapine is so sedative.
any recommendations for a psychologist specialising in DPDR ? i live in london. i am losing my mind on where to go ,what to do . my son was about to sit his A levels when it all started. I feel so so sad . Moreover my husband prefers to not acknowledge the problem , does not show he cares and tells me to be calm. A lot to deal with, on my own.
Thanks for listening. It helps!

Your bp is just a little high but nothing to worry about. Mine tends to sit around that number so i keep very fit which reduces risks. If you are inactive then start moving lots of benefits in both mind and body.
Did you have itchy skin.? Thats my worst side effect after 4 weeks. If you did how long before it went?

Hi Abdo
finally I find someone with DP/DR! My bp is always sround 125/85..that means your bp is ok. like someone said, move more if you can to destress. If you live near Barn Hill, go forest bathing. .ie .walk in the woods and absorb the healing vibes of trees.
I think my youngest son who has turned 19, has DP/DR but the gp and nhs psychiatrist seems to either not know or simple brush it away. He has been suffering for 2 years now and we dont know what will help.He is on Sertraline 100mg ..not working, been 11 weeks and as he has intense dreams that leave him with bad sleep and numb and foggy, was prescribed 15mg mirtazapine . Yes he sleeps but intense dreams carry on and during the day bombarded by racing thoughts, and is more sleepy than ever. Was an athlete but now not motivated at all to get out of bed!
Are you better now Abdo? its such a horrible disorder. where did you seek help and did you go for therapy...did it help?
i am sure you have help a lot of people out there with DP/DR, I want to thank you. At least I know that in UK it is a known condition.
