Hi Kayleigh,I'm slightly different because I'm changing from Citalopram after 4 years but on day 13 of Sertraline and feel dizzy, shaky and can't seem to function, I'm off work today because I can't concentrate on anything.I have 3 daughters and finding it so hard, just so snappy and irritable. With these meds there's no quick fix, it's just waiting for start up side effects to pass.I'm trying to focus on the fact that I'll feel better eventually.Good luck.x x

I think the same about Sertraline, think it's caused me to have intrusive thoughts. I've been thinking things that I've never thought of in my life! Is that the same for you? Good luck x

Hi Kayleigh, I'm on week 7, and still have a few bad days usually weekends, I've been on 100 for 3 weeks, but honestly the bad days aren't horrible like before, I'd call them frustrating, but manageable, my doc gave me xanax to take on those days, and it really helps. Hope this helps, Tim

I havent been given anything extra to take with mine but have has the slight shakes all day and heightened anxiety at some points through the day, i always feel a little better by evening and i take my tablet at 8am, im thinking i may have the conpulsive side of ocd as my intrusive thoughts are quite vile

I'm glad doc gave me xanax, to help with my thoughts, and ocd may well be my problem with the tinnitus, because I'm always listening for it, can't get out of my own way.😣 I take my sertraline 100 at 8am as well but for me the evenings are testy I wonder if Meds just not staying with me long enough and maybe just need more time for full effect, I feel good and upbeat, but losing patience with the tinnitus. Here's to getting well and I truly believe we will👍

I havent had tinnitus myself but have had a range of other things, this med is horrible but hopefully sets up on the right path to recovery! I always seem to be asking myself how i feel all the time which doesnt help as its like im waiting for something to happen, yes i believe we will it just takes time hard to say that at the minuite but it will, all the best 👍
