Sertraline stopped working already

Hi all

Been on 50mg from the start and after a few bad weeks, things were on the up. I had 3/4 great weeks.

Few days ago for no reason I’ve had hideous anxiety again. Frustrating because I was feeling so much better.

Doctor wants me to go to 100mg as said the 50 was too low.

Anyone experienced this? Bit nervous about all the side effects again as I took time off work when I started they were that bad.

Thanks smile

      Hi

Mostly heightened anxiety, fatigue and felt low for a couple of weeks.

I have been feeling great but back down to earth with anxiety again last week. So frustrating. Perhaps an increase is what I need

Definitely sounds like you need to increase! Go up by 25mg instead of 50mg if you’re worried about side effects! I went from 50 to 75 because I was scared to death of side effects! You’ll get there!

It’s still early, it sounds like an increase will help.  Go slowly with 25mg increments and you still may get side effects but they will be milder for a shorter period.

I’m at 8 weeks and increased yesterday to 100mg.

      You’ll get there!

Thanks to you all, sound advice and reassuring.

Just gutted as I was feeling so good. Still managed to present to 2 massive clients feeling like absolute death and drive home for 5 hours so I must be able to deal with a few sides eh? Haha

I may just try 75 for a few weeks and let my body adjust. How are you all feeling?
