Sertraline - swollen gland in neck, rigid muscle in neck with random aches and pain.

hello,

I used to take escitalopram but found i had mild stomach bloat and fullness on my left side and that it wasnt working well enough. i switched to sertraline a month and a half ago and after a week i started feeling aches and pains especially in my neck. i started poking around (even kind if deep in my neck which made it worse i think) and felt a swollen gland deep in my neck. it wasnt too sore and also not huge (about the size of a small blue berry or bean) but it worried me because i also had neck pain and even my shoulder became somewhat numb and dull feeling in the muscles. i thought i was getting sick.

I panicked at first but then read the side effects and realized that rigid muscles, tremors, numbness, aches and pains and even swollen glands were side effects of sertralinei also never remember feeling any of this before i switched to sertraline. im only taking 25mgs but i never had side effects like this on the last medication with a higher dose. i got a random sore back for four days too.

i get random hot flashes and mild chills. (no fever or eccessive sweating) but it would worry me.

the swollen gland deep in my neck with the muscle rigidity and pain is what scared me. i freaked out and googled which can absolutely terrify anyone with anxiety. im switching my medication.

has anyone else had these issues with a swollen gland or muscle rigidity, aches pains and numbness? the aches pain and numbness comes and goes. same with the rigidity. still never fully goes away. its not debilitating but enough to worry me and freak me out.

really hoping this is something that isnt uncommon. hopefully over the next month or so these side effects go away. im even considering going back to my old medication.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
