Sertraline tolerance

Posted , 3 users are following.

Just looking for advice or other peoples experience. Put on 25mg Sertraline for one week and then up to 50mg, now 2 and half weeks in, so 3 and a half in total. had a couple of better days but generally so shaky, I feel trembly and the odd finger/muscle twitches, for somebody with health anxiety it's a struggle. I had a minor heart attack in December and to be honest it's a all a bit much.

anybody else any experience? Just hoping for better days ahead. THank you.

    Hi there ,

yes the side effects are tough mine subsided after 2 weeks but that was on 25 mg e so quite low .

Try and stick with it i found learning relaxation techniques and the Dare anxiety app really useful.

Hope you feel better soon .

hey, I have had all the side effects on these meds when I first started and the anxiety gets worse before better. 4 to 6 wks to start to feel better but not full effects. Also I was told when you increase a dose it starts the wks over. I hope that helps as it does get better
