Sertraline week 20 150mg and passed out

Hi all, still struggling with anxiety, been on sert 20 weeks now. Started to feel slightly better about a month ago but then last week whilst out playing footie with my lad, came over all Lightheaded after running then bending over to get ball, and passed out. Only to come around moments later, grazed all my face. My anxiety went through roof and went to hosp. They don't know why I blacked out but think could be cardiac so have implanted a loop recorder in my chest to monitor. This has made my anxiety worse of course, now worrying about my heart. When will it end!

hi dazfoxy. probably nothing to do with the medication. More likely to do with sudden blood pressure fluctuations. running around bending down and getting up too quickly, happens to a lot of people. I know it is hard but try not to panic too much, the 24 hour heart monitor does not mean there is something wrong, it is just crossing the t,s and dotting the I,s, when they can find no obvious answer for something happening they just like to make sure. you will be fine, don't let this get the better of you, you have come too far to let it make you ill again.

Thanks sue, I know I must fight on, my cbt is finally starting this week, after a 6 month wait, so that will. Undoubtedly help. Just a bit fed up with feeling ill and to top it this passing out, doc said I can't drive for six months, so that's really put the tin hat on it!
