Hello Lee - the bad news it takes time, the good news it works... now everyone is different but it took me a good 8 to 12 weeks for me to settle and my body to work with this medication... my biggest problem was I wanted/thought it would work quicker so I would what I was told "body surf"! which is every morning and throughout the day I would check to see if I was OK, did I have headache, was I feeling sick, was I dizzy, etc. etc., so if at all possible distract yourself and what I ended up doing when I was about to "surf" Id put on the tele, flick through the channels or make a cuppa. with regards to eating, I lost so much weight it was scary, but what got me back up and going was, anything I didnt have to chew, soups, smoothies and scrambled eggs... into my mouth and swallow - hard at first, but like everything else the more I did it the easier it got. Also, eat when you are hungry, no matter what the time, day or night.... also taking this tablet on empty stomach made me feel so sick so my go to was a banana.. hang in there, as Ive said it does work, there are days you feel worse than ever but the longer you stick with it those days become less and less. Feel better soon & Lee "YOU'VE GOT THIS"

The short answer is, Yes. But do you know what I figured out, I have myself wrecked thinking about what "might" happen when Im out so when I did go out for what ever period of time I was tired and even more so when I got back. But I have to say the BIGGEST well done to you for going out at all, but now you have to keep going out maybe stay out a bit longer each time until you dont think about how you are feeling etc.,
What I also found good is, get a note book each evening write down what you did today, example, you went out, may sound simple but for the likes of me it was major and in an odd way I felt good for doing even something so simple.
Yes I remember every day of every week for 12 weeks!! until I leveled off with meds in my system & some days after that when I would out of nowhere have a bad day & get so down in myself again but using the tricks that CBT taught me I push myself through. So write off today as a bump in the road, get up tomorrow, go out & look at what people ate wearing! wonder where the people you meet are going & why, this helps to distract yourself & stops you checking how you are etc.,
So what if you are tired, be kind to yourself & dont be hard on yourself, look how far youve come, you are doing great. As someone told me, its a marathon not a sprint this yoke thats called anxiety & depression & getting through it, but you will. x
