I have been on it for 11 months with highest dose of 250 mg and can say from my experience it does more harm than good.

I quit cold turkey twice on 250mg and happy i did. I think AD's are a sham drug as i have hardly read any success stories.

Found out that besides the physical side/withdrawal effects it also affects the mitochondria (energy cells in the body) eventually making the illness worse.

Have a look at UBIQUINOL, apparently it's shown positive results on studies on mental illnesses and others without the horrid antidepressant side effects.

    All the best.

Just had a short walk to postbox about 200 yards and am sure people in the street if they were looking out of window would think I was drunk. I could see my shadow in front of me and i was all over the path. I feel as though my legs are not getting the message from my brain in time and I am stomping and forcing my legs to move.

Maybe do 25mg if you have it for a few weeks - you may only need a small dose- lots do well on 25 despite lowest recommended therapeutic dose at 50mg’s.

Takes about 5 days to wash out- so the 50 is still in your system.  If you’re doing well I wouldn’t change anything just yet.

Good decision! I stopped Sertraline two weeks ago after 7 months starting at 150mg getting down to 25mg. Currently having awful withdrawal symptoms, waterlogged head, head pressure, tinnitus, feeling I’m hungover and nausea. Symptoms have got a bit worse since the drug is now out of my system. Also some sleep disturbance and dizziness. I think you may be lucky and not have protracted withdrawal. I guess the only advice is to look after yourself. I wish I had not started on 150mg of this drug because I always had a foggy head on it and now I am paying the price of withdrawal from a high dose.

I’m feeling exactly the same! I don’t know what to do either, I’m hating the withdrawal and I’m feeling so fed up and scared of my own body x
