Hiya
I have come off Sertaline through the help of my G.P.
I can cope with the strange brain Zaps and dizziness but I seem to be very irritable and in a bad mood all the time.
Has anyone else experiences this?

It is your body adjusting....... some people report like a anxiety rebound which can be worse than befofe you started medication
Why did you come off them?

I felt my anxiety and depression was worse when on them and i started having huge issues with alcohol abuse.

I'm tapering down. was on 100mg, currently on 50mg and I've been very irritable

Hi - I'm tapering down on Sertraline. Currently on 25mg daily. Interesting what you say about alcohol absur on SSRIs - I'm not a drinker but I developed a crazy shopping habit. Sounds stupid but i spent a fortune and my house is full if stuff I don't need. Makes me feel a bit ill to look at it all. Maybe like you compulsions are worse on some AD's? Anyway - same as you I feel irritable and negative and dark. But I am so determined to ride it out and get off the medication. Mood definitely worse if i drink, don't get enough sleep, eat badly etc. Keep at it & good luck.
