Sertraline withdrawal after 3 days

I had to give up sertraline (50mg) after 3 days on Doctors advice because I was having such bad side effects. The first day I didnt take the tablet I was starting to feel better, the 2nd day felt better and even managed to sleep but now Im going into my 3rd day without them, and I feel like I have been put back on them, my body has been twitching like mad, brain & neck feel like their shaking/ vibrating, my chest feels fluttery & heart palpations, insomnia is back as well as the agitation. I am a bit shocked that I have withdrawal symptoms after only 3 doses? Is this normal? i wasnt expecting to have withdrawal symptoms so I went cold turkey could this have made it worse?
