Sertraline withdrawal and caffiene

Posted , 2 users are following.

I've tapered (quite slowly) sertraline, from 100 mg daily to zero over a period of two months.  I'm struggling really hard with brain zaps - these seem to be following a bit of a pattern in that they are much worse after I've drunk coffee (de-caff or otherwise) - has anyone else experienced this or is it just me grasping at staws.

I had bad brain zaps weaning off celexa and I had Valium to take and it really helped, not sure If that is a possibility to obtain but if it is it is worth a try.   I only took 2 mgs

Hi there - I don’t actually need the antidepressant any more - the issues that caused me to need them have long since gone - it’s now a case of trying to work out what aggravates the brain zaps - just curious about whether anyone else has made a connection between brain zaps and caffeine x
