Sertraline withdrawl- depressed and emotional

I started taking 100 mg of Sertraline 4 years ago. A few months ago I started having anxiety, brain fog, blurry vision, problems concentrating. I decided to stop taking the medication without consulting my doctor and weaned myself off within two weeks. I had no idea that it was going to be so hard. My anxitey spiked and i was having panic attacks everyday. I thought i was going crazy. Im a stay at home mom with three kids ages 7,3&1. I feel so guilty for putting them through this. My panic attacks have stopped but i am sleeping horribly and i get very emotional over the smallest things. I wake up feeling anxious and stressed. I have no motivation, i do not feel happy and its hard for me to make any kind of decisions. I feel so alone in my feelings and im tired of my kids seeing me so depressed all the time.

But with reading so much on this its clear that this drug should come with an extreem warning lable. You body and mind get highly addicted to it. Law suits have been successful against this drug.
Im a fully trained psychotherapist and have wored in rehab centres. This is one of the hardest drugs to quir. But do it dont play the game of funding the nhs.
It does get better. But supplements are a must! Take care

you should go and see your doctor to discuss?
my 2 food advice recommendations are:
1. bananas - make sure they are very ripe (best when they get brown spots on the skin)
2. lots of EPA (a great source is to eat a small can of sardines every day)

This thread may help you, shows what hell many of us went through coming off sertraline. I've been off two years and have permanent damage, nausea still most mornings and loose bowels. I never had this previous to going on sert.
