Sorry to hear about that. Maybe try tapering little by little maybe up to 9 months long? Maybe start at 25mg for about 3 months , then 12.5 for three months then 6 mg for 2 month then 6 mg every other day for a month... then stop. Most success stories have been from ppl doing it very very slow from what I noticed.
I do not plan on doing more than 25mg. I'm suffering terribly from anxiety and depression from the anxiety, so I do need help. But my goal is to try and keep it as low as possible.

I got to 50 for a total of 22 days but just couldn't take the side effects. Went down to 37.5 for about three months, now at 25,

Hi there, I am day 2 on 25mg and although the mornings are a bit worse and I have lost my appetite. I've not been too bad, I have to increase to 50mg after a few days 12.5mg is quite low, why not try 25mg for a couple of days and see how you get on?? I take it when I first wake up about 6 am then try and go back to sleep for a little while. I have severe anxiety and mild depression.

Hi I'm on 25mg and have been for 4 months.
I had all the side effects going, but it took me about 8-10 weeks before the completely went, but anxiety slowly went away after about 4 weeks it's not an over night thing it happens slowly.
Do a day to day diary on how you are feeling and you will see the improvement.
I have health Anxiety, I thought I'd got alsorts wrong with me, all started with my acid reflux then my BP was all over the place I started panicking about that,
i was checking it every day, but now I only check it at the GPs when I have an appointment and my last appointment I forgot to ask, because i much more relaxed So sertraline has really helped me.
good Luck.
