Sertraline (Zoloft) Is Anyone on the 4th week like me? How are you feeling?

Hi All!

Just looking for a little hope, trying to find out if there is any sign if the med will work because being in doubt just kills me. I have started to take Sertraline about 4 weeks ago, 1 week on 25 mg and about 3 weeks on 50 mg. I am a bit better than I was on the first 2 weeks , anxiety got much better but I've got intense other side effects like feeling sick and depressed, very dizzy and weak. I had some good morning, evening when I felt normal(ish) but most of the time I need to be in bed, otherwise I feel even worse. I would have to go back to work, I still can't tell my boss when I will be able to go back which is a high pressure on me and just wondering If there is anybody here with more experience and able to give some advice. Is it worth to stick with it or I should be better now? Not bounded to bed at least?

Also interested in success storied if there is anybody here who has similar experiences but got much better with time, please share your story with me!

TIA

Kind Regards,

B.

I'm bound to bed too at 4 weeks of 100mg, I too feel much better when it comes to anxiety and depression, I used to be so hopeless. I feel headaces, nausea, lack of appetite and exhausted. From what I've read this things go away eventually and is often bad at 4 to 5 weeks too. 6 to 8 weeks seems to be where the magic happens if it works. I took a gap semester for medication so I still have time to get better, but I hope I get my old life back soon! Hope you feel better soon, these things takes time.
