Hello everyone/anyone its my first visit here. It's my fourth day taking the medication and am feeling a little woozy and light headed. About how long does it last.

I have been taking sertraline for approx 5 weeks. The side effects last differently for each person, some say a couple weeks, sometimes less. Mine was for at least a week but i found them favorable to the effects that ocd and depression have given me since april. Good luck just stick with it unless you get some adverse reaction and keep talking to your g.p or psychiatrist

Hi Martin.  Veteran Sertraline user heresmile. I think cuffy is right.  Everyone reacts differently.  I don't remember that side effect, but then again I could have  related it to something else at the time.  I was so busy when I started taking it, I doubt I even noticed.  I would give it two weeks and then reevaluate how you feel.  Try to take it easy for a few days.  I hope you feel better soon

Thank you, I'm not feeling bad or anything just a little lightheadedness and light nausea. They're both listed among the common side effects. So at the moment not too worried. About everything else...that's a different story.
