Hi everyone

I am now 6 weeks 6 days on Sertraline for anxiety; 1st 2 weeks 50mgs, 2nd 2 weeks 100mgs, 3rd 2 weeks 125 mgs and 6 days on 150.

The week before last I started to notice I was feeling alot more optimistic and positive and then from last Monday I felt great...back to normal with no anxiety.

Had a great 5 days where I felt back to normal but then over the weekend I started to feel detached and self aware and my anxiety came back

Could it be a delayed reaction to the dose increase last Monday? I really thought I'd cracked it and feel really dejected that its come back but I know others on here have experienced this.

My Psychiatrist wanted me to go up to 200mgs but I feel I should spend some time letting myself settle on 150.

I would really appreciate anyones advice/input as its so frustrating to have a breakthrough and then feel like I've gone backwards. I'm not used to this as when I was on Paroxetine and then Escitalopram, once they kicked in they stayed that way.

Thanks all xxx
