Setraline 10 weeks at 50mg

Hello all!
I have been on sertraline 50mg for 10 weeks today. Recently I have had some stressful situations that I have taken on with no issues at all. However, These last 2 days have been kind of weird. Yesterday I had a mild panic attack that I was able to overcome with the help of friends and family. My only concern now is this feeling of lightheadedness. I thought I was over the hump as I have been GREAT for the last 2-3 weeks, but apparently not. Has anyone else experienced this?

Stress is a horrible thing and I’ve been like you well on sertraline only 25 for 5 months however there’s been times that have gotten stressful even small things like my 8 year old been annoying and I get light headed.
Remember there’s no pill that will rid any anxiety or depression completely maybe try meditation or going for a walk and don’t forget how far you’re come..
I like listening to Micheal sealy on utube I sometimes listen to him during the day with headphones on n at night..

Hey Trish!
Thanks for replying back! You have no idea how much it helps to have someone who feels the same thing as you do! I have been listening to Podcasts and it totally helps! I too have a 9 year old who annoys me to no end! lol I know that it will pass, it just sucks that I feel like I'm back to square one.....

Hi Christina, I can absolutely say yes. I am also on 50, and also alittle over 12 weeks. Some days I feel great, but other days are alittle shakey. I have minor panic, a few times. But nothing like I had before. The only difference is i get headaches, and my head feels like it's full, weird right. But I think that it's going to get better. One person I read about took him up to six months to feel completely like himself
But each person is different. So hang in there, be strong. This too will pass.

Hi Brenda!
Thanks so much for your insight! It sure does help calm my crazy! lol
My head is a bit heavy but I assume that the drastic shift in the weather has also activated my allergies! Ugh! if its not one thing, its another.....BUT you're right, this too shall pass!

I also have been on Sertraline for about 10 weeks at 50mg, light headedness was one of my original symptoms as well, but since being on the medication I too am still feeling light headed though! Very annoying and nothing has changed for that side effect sadly so I can relate, but also have been told it can take a while to adjust to these new meds. I dunno if it helps but yeah
