Setraline and Spotting

I’ve recently been prescribed Setraline 50mg, and have now been on them for about two weeks. I’m also on Pentasa (crohns) and Lucette contraceptive pill. I take the pill back to back so haven’t had a period in quite a while and have never experienced spotting before, but three days after starting setraline I experienced a lot of spotting as if I was on my period. But the day before I had a doctors appointment I stopped bleeding, the GP did a urine sample which came back with high levels of white blood cells but no blood, but the next day I started spotting again, its been three days since.  Does anyone have any advice?

    Well I have never heard of sertraline causing any problems like this.  As for the rest of your meds I haven't a clue. I would go back to the doctors and tell them.  I hope you find some answers.  x
