Severe akathisia

My mother has an abdominal pain for 9months but all the test results have been negative. We have done x-ray, ct (head and body), ultrasound, gastro. We are currently on pain relief (oxycodone 10mg twice a day and oxynorm 10mg 3-4times a day) along with regular medication (paracetamol, gabapentin 300mg at night, candesartan). We are in and out of the hospital but there are no solution at this point. Now my mother is having severe akathisia from one of the medication that was given to control the pain in emergency department. (ketamine IV, fentanyl IV, clonidine IV) With inner restlessness, abdominal pain is increasing more. My mother is in a difficult situation of two symptoms together. Currently the pain and restlessness from akathisia is relieved by lorazepam 2mg along with oxynorm 10mg. But looking at a long term, we need an alternative solution of the medication as those medication are addictive. Is there any medication to reduce and remove the symptoms of akathisia?

I would be looking at remedies for easing the pain and the symptoms until I could get off the drugs by gradually reducing them. Then when off the drugs assess the situation again. This is a very nieve though but it is what I am trying to do with my PD.....clear out the drugs from the system and then review

I have such severe akathisia that I cannot stop moaning. I have been bedridden for one year and can get barely by with the use of 40 mg hydrocodone and Xanax 3 mg and klonopin 2 mg. I cannot sit anywhere or drive because I have excruciating pain in my abdomen or anywhere in my upper torso. I tried every antiparkinsonian drug there is to no avail. Benadryl does nothing. Vitamins nothing. This is a long drawn out torturous death sentence. How is your mother? Did the akathisia and pain subside? What is she taking now?
