Severe bloating (2 yr post op)

Hi! Has anyone else developed severe bloating issues following a gallbladder removal? Anytime I eat, even just 3 carrots, for example, my stomach swells up to the point where I could pass as pregnant. I am left incredibly uncomfortable, feeling heavy, and with a hard, swollen stomach. I've been treated for sibo which didn't help, I don't eat gluten or red meat or dairy, I do work out fairly regularly, and I'm just looking for any other suggestions or topics I might explore with my gastro. Thanks!

    Shelby,

I would talk to your Gastro... I could see you having problems with digesting fats but carbohydrate foods like carrots 🥕??  I had my cholestectomy in March and within minutes of eating certain kinds and/ or amounts of fats get a sharp pain in my Upper right quadrant... Yeah... Get with your Gastroenterologist or find a new one who will listen to you....Good luck! 😉👍

Hello, i hope you are doing well. I get a sharp pain in my right upper abdominal area where the gallbladder was. Has your GI doctor had any advice on what is causing your pain in the upper right area? I’m 7 weeks post op and still feel nauseous before and even more so after eating and get the pain in my upper right abdomen.
