Severe cramps

I am four months post-op from my complete Achilles' tendon tear surgery. I have been experiencing severe muscle spasms and cramps. Has anyone else experienced this?

Seen podiatrist today, he said it's something that normally happens after surgery but not this far out. Said something about it being delayed reaction. Gave me muscle relaxers and have to start PT again. Follow up in a month. Thanks for everyones input!

I have had bad cramps as well. I asked my surgeon and he really didn't havean explanation. Said cramps can come from so many reasons. My surgery has been almost 2-years now.

I'm just curious where is your cramps and are you able to walk? I got 2 screws attached to my bone and am wondering if that's what's causing my pain. I think my cramps are from wearing that heavy boot.

In my foot and on side of lower calf, side of tendon, between calf and ankle. it's so bad it wakes me up in the middle the night .

Hi Mary , yes I get it sometimes but I get were the foot flickers like the Tendons and killers are healing may be as I had Major surgery n tendon and ArKillers,, toes done very painfull but you can't do much knacked 😞
